Janine worked for many years within the NHS, specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) across both inpatient and outpatient settings. She now works independently, supporting clients of all ages with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on a variety of models including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based techniques. Janine tailors her methods to suit the unique needs of each individual client.
Central to Janine’s practice is the cultivation of a safe and healing therapeutic relationship. She works with clients who may be struggling with difficult emotions and experiences, helping them gain clarity, support, and a renewed sense of balance. Therapy often involves exploring the past to understand its influence on present challenges. In addition to addressing specific issues, Janine also offers therapy for those seeking deeper self-reflection and personal insight.
